What will happen when the number of mobile phones will outnumber the number of individuals ?

Next year the always and more than ever connected planet will reach another tipping point : there will be more mobile phones than inhabitants in the world….

As Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of the Grameen bank in Bangladesh, has said, “When you get a mobile phone it is almost like having a card to get you out of poverty in a couple of years.”

In most countries mobiles phone are no longer solely used to make phone calls. Mobile phones and above all the ever growing smartphones are used to get access to information, any kind of information. Private, personal, trade and business information, culture, knowledge, language, weather…They also are used to make payments, money transfert….The list never ends…
