Be-Bound is attending the Mobile World Congress (MWC) this week in Barcelona. From March 2-5, Be-Bound’s CEO, Albert Szulman will be in the beautiful Spanish city along with other members of the Be-Bound team, to join the annual event that brings together mobile’s best. As we increasingly live in a “mobile-first” world, the MWC has become a paramount event.

Last year, nearly 90,000 people from over 200 countries attended the MWC to hear the latest news on mobile innovations and to meet and network with world leaders in mobile tech. This year’s most recently announced speakers include Mark Zuckerberg, and Tom Wheeler, (Chairman of the FCC). (See a full list of speakers here ). The list of attendees includes thousands of C-level leaders and everything from leading Mobile Network Operators, to Professors interested in mobile technologies.

On March 1st, one day before the official show opening, a press conference was held to reveal some of the long-anticipated announcements and news of official releases.  There had actually already been quite a few pre-event leaks that provided a teaser of what we might expect to see from the conference this week.

Though Be-Bound had no special announcement or unveiling planned for the press conference, Be-Bound’s technology is ever-evolving and we are constantly being made aware of the many fields where our mobile solution can be put to good use. Our hybrid technology which allows people to access the Internet on Android smartphones where there is no data or WiFi, can improve myriad business capabilities. Be-Bound’s technology gives businesses the ability to expand their mobile operations in ways previously thought impossible.

As for Be-Bound, we are treading quietly to the conference where we have set up meetings to potentially launch us into new territories. The international scope of this conference affords us the opportunity to have many face-to-face meetings with key contacts, and to discuss partnership possibilities that could unfold over the coming months or even years. The advantage of events like this is that all the best minds in one field gather together in one place. This concentration of focus increases the speed of connections, new ideas and therefore the pace progress overall. For Be-Bound, it is a chance to look back at what has been accomplished in mobile over the past year, and set our sights on the future.

In contrast to the majority of mobile services that have been offered up to the present, Be-Bound’s technology is a solution that brings mobile services to places in the world where the market for mobile Internet remains relatively untouched. The estimated 4 billion people living without Internet will fast become a part of the population that manages their day-to-day life on the Worldwide Web, and Be-Bound is going to play a principal role in this.

We attribute MWC 2014 for helping to propel Be-Bound forward and our expectations are no less for 2015 and  beyond. For that reason, MWC will be on the annual Be-Bound calendar for years to come. In such a fast-  changing world, we are already imagining what Be-Bound might be announcing come MWC 2016!

If you are attending MWC this year, send us a message to set up a meeting!
