“We are extremely proud and thrilled of this deal”, says Albert Szulman Be-Bound® CEO. “The discussions started over a year ago and Larry Page very quickly saw that our project was serious and made a lot of sense, that is why we eventually struck this deal”.
The amount paid by Be-Bound® to acquire the Google OS has not been revealed yet but, always according to Albert, “it was reasonable and worth the deal for both sides”. What was a dream came to reality early this morning. The reason for this acquisition is very simple, if we may say : Be-Bound®’s ambition is to connect the world. To connect the world we first developed our application on Android, the world number one OS in term of users and devices. So the next logical step was to acquire Android and include Be-Bound® in it. That’s exactly what we did !. “We wanted to focus our activities on our search engine and Google +” commented Larry Page on his G+ account this morning “ after a couple of meetings with the Be-Bound®’s board members it became very clear to us they were well advanced in their project. But, I must admit that what really made the difference was Olivier Rousseau’s Tiramisu, it’s a killer !”
The same Olivier Rousseau, Be-Bound®’s CTO, announced that a new Android update should be out in a couple of months before adding : “I will personally supervise this new Android update and, to stimulate the Paris Development team, I can also announce that we signed a deal with Lipton Ice Tea to get constant free supply of this beverage. This supply agreement should shortly be followed by a couple more with Haribo, Kraft food and Procter and Gamble” concluded Olivier before dashing away to attend an important conference call with Michel Ktitareff (Be-bound® Silicon Valley) and Tim Cook.
Rumors say that the Apple CEO was not happy that Be-Bound® did not acquire IOS and would therefore be more than happy to discuss the possibility of including our app in IOS….Some others say that this conference call was about the quantity of Amaretto to add in a Sabayon to enhance a chocolate cake….Only time will tell, but, in any case , apple or sabayon, we would be curious to see this team cook….
